About The Movie
Maidaan is a 2024 movie released on 10th April 2024 in theatres. It stars Ajay Devgan in the lead role along with Priyamani and Gajraj rao. This movie was postponed many times from past 3-4 years but now it has been released finally. This is the story of Syed Abdul Rahim who was the coach of Indian football team and he led the team to win the Gold medals in Asian games after their terrific defeat in Olympics. The movie is a fine sports drama which is full of patriotism, passion and sports spirit. It will motivates the youth and do the same charisma which was done by Chak de India.
The movie is directed by Amit Sharma who has previously directed Badhai ho. Music is given by legendry A.R. Rahman.

Critics have given good reviews for the movie. Audience will give word of mouth positive review for the movie. So despite having competition, Maidaan will have its chance to leverage its position.
It needs to earn at least 150 Crore to be called a hit. It it earns between 120 to 135 crore then it will be called an average movie. If it earns below 120 crore then it will be a flop.
